The "Casita",
a charming South Texas vacation rental cottage, is separated from the main compound of our bed and breakfast inn by a few hundred yards. This tiny guest cabin is in a world of its own near Corpus Christi, TX. It reminds one of where Little Red Riding Hood would have taken cookies to grandmother. Consistent with the ranch motif of white stucco and green shutters, the Casita compound is entered through antique wrought-iron gates that spill onto a small yard with a unique white fence. |

The Casita consists of one bedroom
with a king-sized bed, an entrance hall, a bath
with footed tub and shower and a small living room
and kitchen area and is perfect for that romantic
weekend getaway. Charming French doors
open up to the back porch, which provides ample
room for barbecuing or just soaking up the fabulous
Texas view and prevailing breeze. |
